Migrating to Calico UK Broadband
Back-end BT ADLS Connection
To be able to migrate from your existing ADSL service to the Calico UK
Broadband services, you must currently use the same back-end
BT ADSL connection as the Calico service you wish to move to.
We cannot migrate you directly from broadband services that
don't use the BT network.
We use the following BT connections:
| Calico UK Service | | BT Connection |
| |
| 512kb/s | | IPStream Home 500 |
| 1024kb/s | | IPStream Home 1000 |
| 2048kb/s | | IPStream Home 2000 |
| 1024kb/s + | | IPStream Office 1000 |
| 2048kb/s + | | IPStream Office 2000 |
Your current supplier should be able to tell you which back-end BT connection
your current service uses.
If you do not currently use the BT network, you can still apply for a new
connection if you want to take advantage of Calico UK's excellent service and
value.
Migration Process
The process for migrating to Calico UK's broadband is as follows:
-
First, contact your current provider to determine the back-end BT connection, to ensure that you can migrate to us.
-
Next, ask your current provider for your unique MAC code and
your provider's full company name. We need this information to
be able to migrate you.
-
We will then select the Calico UK service that matches your existing package,
as in the above table, and start the migration.
